A pickle barrel, the pattern of the curtains in the family home, the foraging basket, festival scenery… The artist asked people living in Suzu to recall things stored somewhere in their homes or in the corner of their memories and one by one create ornaments by drawing their shapes with thread or cloth. In a former boathouse, personal memories take form in countless ornaments, creating a landscape where someone’s precious memories become someone else’s memory.
