Watch a kinora at a place overlooking the Kinoura coast. Invented by the Lumiere brothers circa 1895, the kinora is a device used by artists to create motion pictures viewed by turning a reel with a handle. Once at the cutting edge of its time, the kinora, like Suzu, still holds some of its original charm and the power to touch people’s hearts. Watch short animations of Kinoura Beach and Suzu Ware pottery in the soft light shining through the characteristic Magaki of Okunoto.
