“work with #8
(Air conditioning facility
at the former Suzu-City central Library)”
Takuma Imao(Japan)
Exhibition Area Iida|Former central Library
Viewing hours: 9:30-17:00
Closed Thursdays (except for September 23, a national holiday)
The venue is a library that was in use until a few years ago. With the collection of books moved to the new library, only the steel bookshelves and a few office supplies remain. The existing air-conditioning system, whose air suction and discharge are program-controlled, will play musical instruments such as recorders and harmonicas. What sounds does a building at the end of its 50 years of service intertwine?
