Oku-Noto Triennale 2017 Permanent Works

The artist questions our culture and relationship with the mainland through a mixture of porcelain from Kyungdeok-jin, China's leading pottery city, and Suzu-yaki pottery, representing medieval Japan. At the first art festival in 2017, the pieces were lined up on the beach near Mitsuke Island as if they had drifted up from the sea. It is now a permanent installation at the Suzu-yaki Shiryokan (Suzu-yaki Museum).
